Proven design

All our standard designs are worked out to the smallest detail, allowing us to deliver fully finished vessels very quickly and efficiently. The vessels are produced at our shipyards worldwide, close to our customers. This results in an efficient delivery process at the best price-quality ratio.

Improving our bow designs

Profitability by styling. We maintain a programme of ongoing improvement to our bow designs in order to further reduce resistance and minimise fuel consumption.

Extensive hull optimisation

Using extensive CFD analysis, our ship configurations are further optimised for the reduction of fuel consumption and fine-tuned for their specific operational needs. CFD analyses result in better predictions of vessels’ characteristics and performance.

Cargo vessels using LNG as fuel

All Damen cargo vessels have been developed with the option of built-in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) fuel tanks. Built-in tanks result in better stability and safety for crew and the environment. Special ventilation and gas detection equipment is installed to avoid risk in case of leakage.

Ballast Water Treatment System

The unique InvaSave technology is based on continuous fine filtration combined with UltraViolet treatment. Sludge and sediment are dewatered and compacted in a secondary treatment so that they can be further processed once safely ashore.
