Damen Shipyards Group has delivered five Damen Ferries 2306 E3 to Arriva Denmark in Copenhagen. The vessels are based on Damen’s E3 philosophy – environmentally friendly, efficient in operation and economically viable.

The Damen Road Ferry 5212 was built entirely in the Netherlands to a very tight deadline, with the hull constructed in just 70 days at Damen’s subsidiary Niron Staal in Amsterdam.

In the autumn of 2016 Damen Shipyards Group signed a contract to build sixteen shallow-draft passenger ferries for Société de Transport Lagunaire (STL) in the Ivory Coast.

With the contract for construction between Damen and South Korean ferry operator DAEA signed in January 2016, the Damen Fast Ferry 4212 named 'Sea Flower' was handed over on 22 April.

The 'MV Legionnaire' is sister ship to the 'MV Veteran'. Both vessels are part of a large vessel replacement programme being undertaken by the Provincial Government.

The "Liberdadi", the second Damen Fast RoPax Ferry 4512 to be built for Cabo Verde, was transported from the yard in Tuas to Jurong Port.

Damen successfully delivered the ‘Sea Star’, a Damen Fast Ferry 4212, to Seaspovill of South Korea, even though the company had ordered it less than six months previously.

‘Kriola’, a Damen Fast Ferry 4512, was delivered to the harbour city of Mindelo, Cape Verde, in December 2010.
April 2009
In April 2009 the two Damen Fast Ferry 4212, ‘Wan Sendari’ and ‘Wan Seri Beni’ were successfully delivered from China’s Afai Southern Shipyard (Panyu Guangzhou) to Bintan Resort Ferries in Singapore.

The two Damen Fast Ropax 8521, ‘Yavuz Sultan Selim-1’ and ‘ Kanuni Sultan Süleyman’ were delivered to IDO in Istanbul, Turkey.
