Design & Licences

Whether designing cutting-edge new designs or improving our tried and tested existing product range, Damen’s dedicated team of more than 1,000 engineers strives for progress.

Decades of customer feedback and requirements have been included in each new generation of our vessels

We are shipbuilders at heart, as opposed to a naval architects’ office. It’s that extensive construction experience and continuous product development that have led to designs renowned for their performance and quality.
