Damen Crab Catcher

The Damen Crab Catcher 5712 series, are reliable and efficient designs, with a durable propulsion system suited for crab catching operations in ice conditions. The vessel can be executed as Live Storage with large refrigerated seawater tanks or Processor with a fully covered processing/freezing factory and a dry storage freeze hold. The large cargo deck will ensure safe operation and handling of the catch.

Maaskant Shipyards Stellendam is mainly focused on building fishing vessels. In addition we are involved in the design and construction of seagoing workboats such as buoy laying and offshore vessels. We have an extensive staff with a broad experience in designing tailor-made vessels and winches to meet the specific requirements of our customers. Maaskant makes use of its own well-equipped engineering works to provide the optimum 24-hour service. Our three dry docks are fully equipped to service larger vessels as well.
