The World Dredging Congress and Exposition (WODCON) is held once every three years by WODA, the World Association of Dredging Associations. The first event took place in New York in 1967 and the show has held at various locations internationally ever since. WODCON is hosted in turn by three sister dredging associations, WEDA, CEDA and EADA.
The 2016 event in Miami will be held in combination with the annual Dredging Summit and Expo. WODCON is the only global event dedicated exclusively to dredging and maritime construction and provides a platform for researchers and practitioners from industry, academia and governments to meet and discuss the dredging sector.
The forthcoming edition of WODCON will include an extensive technical programme featuring 120 papers and a number of focused panels to discuss developments and projects in the sector throughout the world.
